Ask around to see if anyone can swap the part with you to see if it actualy does the trick.

So this is the BOV? Consider an external BOV? HAhn had a nice part available.

I borrowed a image to show the part broken. It would be on the left just below the red cap. The light brown part. The small peice which attachs the vacuum hose.

Still waiting for part though. Should be somewhere LOL.

Turbine spooling. RPMS are normal. Vacuum seems to be normal.

Check all pipes and all seem to be in order. Further inspection schedule. Bumper coming off and such.
Samething happened to me yesterday. car is good as new now. Go to an autoshop eg. pepboys and pick up Mass airflow sensor cleaner. clean the sensor connected to your air intake, and also clean your air filter then pull the battery. it worked for me so hopefully you receive the same luck!

I have to admit we never looked at the MAF. I will do that as soon as I can tonight and see what happens. Can't hurt. Thanks

I do not understand why is so high.
I admit the last time I priced it was back in 2007 and the dealer quoted a price of less than $50.00.
You can buy the whole turbo for $1100.00 new from one of the vendors here.
So to charge $216.00 for this assembly is quite high.
Have you checked with another dealer?.

By the way, have you checked with BTF and see if he still has the billet ones he made a while back available for purchase?.

"I do not understand why is so high."

Because the Canadian auto industry gets away with rediculous margins.

Yeah considering I was offered to buy a brand new turbo for $500.

Hmm. Let me think which one I should buy????

Going to try the MAF spray tomorrow if I can find it and go from there.

Have you reoiled your filter recently?

Does your cryo system actraully inject anything into the airstream, or does it just cool the intercooler?

Where's the turbo for 500?

Did you try BTF and see if he has the billet or aluminum one he made a while back?.
