My rear diff was discovered to be leaking when my wife took my Deep GXP in for it's oil change. They changed the pinion seal and said they found some scratches underneath the car. My wife said we hit a squirrel. They blamed the damage on squirrel. I'll take photos later tonight and post but the undercarrige is damaged on both sides and the right quarter is buckled. The squirrel must have been the size of a small horse to cause that. This is strike three for my dealer. WineGardner Pontiac of Prince Frederick Maryland. I argued with them on the phone. I have to take it back tomorrow. They still insist it was caused by a squirrel. I'll show them.
The strikes:
Last year we took her brand new G6 GT in for maintenance, car was 3 months old, and they backed into it putting a hole into the bumper.
I took my car in for fog light issue and I got it back with no a/c and the right wheel well gouged up. I told them they have to order it with a request to be boxed or it will come in damaged. They didn't, it did. They fixed my A/C.
Took it in today for an oil change, found diff leaking, fixed (I hope they did it right) Got the car back with the right quarter behind the wheel buckled and under carrige bent, the left side has a small buckel and the mud flaps are no longer against the body.
Does anyone have photos of what the dealer did when they didn't jack it properly so I can have proof.
sadly, I do not have pics, because it did not show up on the Pure, but belieeeve me, I feel your pain.

Joe, I am so very sorry, you might remember Nathan was the first in our area to suffer through this. He does feel your pain. I had to go through two horrible dealers before Critterman clued me onto Fox. To date they have been excellent in service. It is about an hour drive for me and there is a dealer much much closer but it is not worth going to them as they combine incompetence with arrogance so please do not be hesitant to switch. They know they screwed up and just are too slimy to admit it.

Ask them how it is possible to have damage before the rear well. Theres no way the front wheel will throw the squirrel to the rear and cause that amount of damage, because it is obiviously not caused by the rear. Also, since when are squirrels sharp objects? Squirrels are soft and will not cause deep scratches. MAKE THEM FIX IT AND THEN NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. Thats just my 2 cents

The photo is the front right, the fron left is not as bad. How do I approach them with out loosing my cool and force them to fix this, they are trying to say we did it over the weekend. oh my wife had taken the award we had one at the nationals. JustMike, Islandhopper and Justmike's son drove the trip back and all know I didn't have any damage when we arrived home. The trip to the dealer was the next time it came out of the garage

I would simply ask them to show you how they lifted the car...there are proper lift procedures for this car that are very specific...they are outlined in the tech manual...there isnt a TSB on it....unless they lifted the vehicle correctly..which it appears they did not.....simply ask them to show you how they lifted and worked on your vehicle....
look here for the printout from the tech service manual:
if they refuse...I would also point out to them their past history with you of poor repairs and previous damages to your cars..Im sure they have it documented....then tell them see you in small claims court for failure to repair dealer inflicted damages...armed with photos of other like damage from here.....

Simply tell them that you believed that they damaged your car due to improper lifting procedures and if they don't fix it that you will get the GM regional folks involved.
If they start to give you a hard time tell them that you will be on the phone to Pontiac Customer Service as soon as you leave.
