I came across this on another forum and wanted to share it. I could not find any other posts dealing with this

Apparently there are some timing chains in the 2.4 that were not heat treated and a few people have being finding their timing chain or more specifically parts thereof when doing an oil change.

Does not affect GXP or Redline. only n/a. And only IF a problem develops.
