Alpine IVA-W505

Has anyone put the Alpine IVA-W505 HU in their car? I am wondering if the gear shifter will get in the way of the screen when it is the down position. I guess if it does I would just have to put the car in 4th gear. If you have pictures of it that would be great too.

I have one in a box getting ready to go in. Should fit, as the w200 and the w205 fit. This unit by the way is the best unit alpine has ever produced hands down. The imprint function and I-tune tagging are suppose to be awesome. This is the unit to buy if you plan on replacing your
head unit. I actually have both units out of the car, so I can see if they are the same size. One thing I did do, was cut the inner dash against the wall to fit in all the electronic gadgets. Gadgets like the onstar and steering wheel control boxes.

Let us know how easy an install it is and take some pictures of the install. I know there are the other how-to but every stereo is different. Also, do you have the monsoon upgrade?
