iPod/iPhone using USA Spec PA20-GM

Has anyone installed one of these in their Solstice. I have the prior version of the USA Spec (PA11) in my 03 Suburban, 04 Avalanche and 08 Vette. It seems to work well and DOES charge all iPods including the new iPhones but does a poor job of inteface on these older radios so I use it in iPod direct control where I control everything through the iPhone but it plays thru the radio. Down side is it does not list artist, song, etc., but the stering wheel controls DO work. Apparently this newer PA20 works better with these newer radios and does show info, etc. Any feedback???

I have an 07 GXP, and mine does not work. i.e. It shows song, artist, etc, and i can control volume, but i can not select songs, or use forward, reverse to change the selection from the radio or steering wheel controls. I also can't do it on the iPhone, i have to use the shake to shuffle feature to change the tune because it locks into "accessory connected" mode upon plugging it in. I was told this only applies to the 07 model, that the 08 09 and most other GM versions of this radio have consistent programming, but the LAN code on the 07 is different. If you have an 07 and have different results, let me know because i may have had smoke blown up somewhere private. Either way, i bought my unit without warranty, so I don't have a return option.

PS, my iPhone is the 3G model...this may be different with the 1st Gen, or earlier code than OS3.x as well?
