iPod Placement

Does anyone have a good idea for a place to put an iPod in this car? I have an idea for one involving velcro, but I don;t want to mess up the plastic on the car. I am going to go buy I one foot cable for hooking it up, since anything more is way to much.

All suggestions appreciated!

Thanks,
Astro!

Consider looking at ProClip. They make holders that mount on the dash that will hold various devices - cell phones, iPods, etc. They even have attachments that will hold two devices side-by-side. I use one for my Razor cell phone.

Ditto that!

Any good ideas for a reversibel, non-detructive mount?

Bracket I got from Best Buy for 10 dollars. I bolted it to a PVC plug that I filed down somewhat. It slips into the 12V outlet. The audio cord is from Radio Shack and wraps once around the PVC part and plugs into the aux jack.

It puts it in a nice place for access and seeing. It also will hold my cell phone, or my Dashhawk.

I removed my Pro Clip when i had my dash painted and refinished. I no longer need it since installing my new Stereo system. It is a very good holder and did not damage the dash at all with removal. PM if you are interested in buying it.

Thanks for the ideas. This is exactly what I was looking for. I also need something to hold my Blackberry.

Check out the ProClip web site. They make holders for every device imaginable.

I bought a cheap 2 slot sleeve type case in the auto section at Walmart that i slide between the centre tunnel and the passenger seat. Slide the ipod into one of the slots and use the other for garage door opener or sunglasses. Works well. Only drawback is you can't see the screen easily but I use playlists so that is not really an issue when driving anyway.

Supporting Vendor JPM will sew you a holder into his leather covering of the center console piece. Nice custom way to handle the situation and add comfort to your car.
