Plugging in i-pod to radio jack and cell into cig lighter but need ipod to be powered

Hi, I am looking for a way to (neatly without a lot of things dangling) power my ipod and also plug in my phone. Currently in my other car I have a 2 way cig lighter splitter that has a USB power jack on the side, but it's too large to fit in the Solstice and I only need one lighter jack. Has anyone seen anthing SMALL that will let me do both? Thanks,

I purchased a power outlet from AutoZone that is mounted on the dog house wall in the passenger side foot well. There is a fuse box right in the bottom of the well and you can easily put a fusible link in then drill a couple of small holes and mount the outlet there. Put it up high enough not to be kicked by the passenger and far enough back not to be to noticeable.

Go to autozone.com and do a search for this Part Number: 39052-8

Hope this helps

Hi, thanks for that info.

I was hoping to find something like these below if possible - but they do not appear to be available in the US for some reason - I can't be the only one looking for something like this:

Hi, if you click my links you will see that these foreign ones are different than anything Amazon or other retailers sell - they have one female cig outlet with 1 (or more) usb's. Most have 2 or more outlets or no oulets, just USB. Anyone else ever see anything like those in my links above?

Have you considered hardwiring the plugs in? You can test the polarity of the wires behind the cig lighter and solder a female plug in behind the dash and plug the wires into that. That would be the cleanest way to do it.
