Stubby Antenna not needed.

	Excelsior Member Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: NY	Honestly, I have had the car now going on my 4th day and I have completely forgotten that the antenna is even there. And anyone even looking at the car does not even ever notice the antenna. I asked someone what they thought of the antenna and they had to actually look around to find it. 	TerpFan Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: North Carolina	Being what it is, not a bad job. Knowing however that GM has done good work in removing the antenna (both AM/FM and XM) from view does make me wonder why leave this one on. Again, the bean counters need to be veto'd by the engineers every now and then.

I'm getting the monsoon sound system and I'm curious how the subwoofer sounds behind the passenger seat. Do you have the premium sound? Sly-everything except XM, onstar and smoker pkg.

I have a stock stero system. Remember that while riding in a convertible it is enjoyable to hear the motor working and the road noises and everything all-together. It is quite rare that I even have the radio on. I have been looking at a bunch of sports cars and I would say 90 percent have an external antenna, and most are in the same location, the Miata, Z4 and others , I don't know what the big deal is about... 	heintz Member Join Date: Jul 2005	My Miata came with an electric retractable antenna. I don't see this an option on the Sol. (Or the PT for that matter). If they are NOT going to hide the antenna in the windshield frame, they should offer a retracting one.
