When I use Onstar turn by turn, one simple line of directions shows up on my radio display. I'm interested in upgrading my radio but want to keep this feature. Would either of the non-gps pioneer or kenwood units be able to do this (IE Pioneer P4000DVD)?

I'm not sure if I'm interested in the full gps onscreen package like the D3. Just exploring other options.

I was wondering the same thignas well but was curios as to just adding a reg cd player, would the directions still come over the speakers.

I really don't know. I'm going to email pioneer and crutchfield this week and find out. All I'm looking for is a new unit to tie into my monsoon and onstar. I'll post anything I find out.
