Okay, this has been done many times and many ways, but I figured for the price I would check it out. I went by the local award store and for $3.50 ( remember that South Park episode ) I got my cars name on a plaque the exact size of the passenger airbag light area. My cars name is Karma, because of how I got her and all I went through to get her. My wife is Buddhist (from Laos) so she liked the name as well. Her car name is Lexi (Sexy Lexi ) which is just short for Lexus. Honestly the airbag light never bothers me and I never thought I would name my car, but after all I went through to get the GXP I figured it was appropriate.
Let me know how it looks, because it was an inexpensive mod. I think in person it looks appropriate, but I am always open to honest opinions. I already have mod #4 planned for tomorrow ... even the easy ones count. The material is NOT metal, so I thought about coloring the lettering RED .... any thoughts? I am not 100% sold on the GOLD.
BTW: Sometimes Karma is GOOD and sometimes she is BAD, but even when I have BAD Karma all is GOOD. ~Steve

It looks good, but you spelled it competely wrong.
It's spelled K-A-P-P-A
at this rate I might have one less "lady" ... however, my wife has grown to love and accept Karma. She will ask how Karma is doing I forgot that Karma was a Kappa too ... a Greek Buddhist

I am still on the fence as to what I am going to do with that area.
One question, You have a local award store? Just how many 4H club meets, baking contests, soccer games, and bowling challenges does a particular location have in order for an "award store" to turn a profit? lol
Maybe if I go this route, I can get their information from you. We shall see.
an award store... who would of thunk it?

What a great idea. I wonder how silver would have looked, since it is close to some of the plastic chrome items.
Good catch.
I think I am going to order 2 more, due to the price being so good. Both in silver and I will paint the letters on one red. I also think I will have the Letter in lower case (after the K) like Karma.

Did they cut it to size for you, or did they have a plate the right size already?
At the 1st National meet last year
everyone received one of these to
place over the airbag light. You had to
be there to get one.

Looks like bumper sticker quality. I don't do bumper stickers on my car. But I might put in up on a wall.
I don't like to put stickers on my car either, but if a vendor sold metal ones (same size as mine) I bet they could get $5 each for them. Not too bad for what the item costs to make IMO. Probably not enough money in it for anyone to do as a vendor, but a cheap mod for those who want to visit their local trophy shop.
