The connector for the tail lights is inside the right rear wheelwell.

Is the 3rd brake light wiring there, also? Removing the inner wheelwell will get me there, right? What color wire is it?

The manual shows them to be very close together. The CHMSL feed is L-BU, light blue.

Thanks! Hoping to get it in this weekend, along with new brakes on the Intimidator SS. 120,000 miles, 4 years, 2 cars on them. It's time.

What he said. It is what the automotive world calls the "3rd brake light".

It is pronounced "chimsul".

When I installed a third brake light pulsing module you had to go up through the license plate light and unplug the existing connector from the back of the stop light and plug in the modulator. If you have small hands the job is not all that much work and a simple plug in process with no removal of any panels, just unscrew the two screws that hold the license plate light in place.

THANKS russims! I'll try that 1st. Figured there had to be an easier way to get to the wiring, but I'm sure the other way will work, also.
