Have you considered the Flowmaster 40???

Lots of us have that one installed and it sounds VERY nice and is not too loud inside. Has a sweet tenor burbble to it too!

Yep, that be the model group-best N/A Sol fit is the 942451, I believe-need the offset, and it may be the dual offset, 942453. XMM may chime in here.

I don't have the model number on mine, but I do know that the inlet and outlet of my muffler are offset from each other and the installation was a real problem. When we put the Flowmaster on MomsSol's car, the inlet and outlet were directly across from each other and the installation was a piece of cake. The offset makes the alignment of the hangers and the positioning of the salvaged exhaust tip very difficult.

942540 is the direct (center on both sides), Flowmaster, Inc.

(And the only reason I remembered any of this was I bought the 40 that's on Mom's Sol, and sold it to her after I ended up with a full cat back Magnaflow instead )

I have another FM in the box new, it may be the offset one that I bought first, then found out the center in & out was best fit!

And I just noticed that FM uses the same numbers for different lines, 40, 50 -not very smart on their part!!

Do I have to buy a new exhaust tip or can I use the existing one?

For the 40 series you can use the existing tip ... just make sure they get it back on straight! (inside joke w/ XMM)
