I created this for several reasons:

1. Signatures cause the threads to become too large to read text. You do allot of scrolling just to get through.
2. As a non supporting member the signature block is limiting in the number of characters and markup code even though I tried to keep mine to a few lines with commas, there wasn't enough space to list all of the mods that you may want to consider for your cool ride.
3. I Hope that others will follow suit.
4. I can always come back to this thread and update it when I add or change the look of my ride.

2. Jul 07 Rear Diff leak @ 9200 miles
3. Jul 07 Front bumber paint repair (factory defect)
4. Jul 07 Under carriage damage, caused by dealer while fixing rear diff leak
5. Jul 07 Passenger cup holder - replaced
6. Aug 07 Double oil change, new dealer stated "Didn't know it was a turbo, used reg oil)
7. Sep 07 Under carriage damage, caused by second dealer during oil change
8. Sep 07 Hood and doors swirl scratches all over - Fixed by Go-N Def.
9. Nov 07 Roof pinching - replaced side back 1/2 of window seal with new part including Teflon plastic square on top edge
10. Feb 08 Suspension Squeak fixed by TSB
11. Feb 08 Rear Diff leak @ 21750 miles, fixed by Recall 07204
12. Feb 08 Roof leak into trunk - Wind Restrictor forced screws on trunk lid to hit rain seal and tear. Replaced top.
13. Aluminum Door sill "Solstice" separating.

• Turbo gasket leak because of loosened OEM bolts- used new SOLO gasket to fix and high-temp Lok-Tite on OEM bolts
• Convertible Top bolt backed out and passenger side became flimsy and did not align- piece replaced and convertible top repaired
• Rear Decklid rubber stopper fell off- replaced deck lid rubber stopper
• Hood Misaligned- paint scratched off of inner hood, wheel well plastic scrathed, insulator ripped- dealer will not fix- purchased insulating foam and attached it to underside of hood
• Driver's seat latch linkage broken- seat does not lock into place- dealer had me drop off car and then told me they ordered the wrong piece- repair finally completed with new seat assembly
• Damaged fender to to dealer's improper lift- they refuse to accept responsibility so I put on Norm's Fenders
  
  Changed Dealerships: From Morrissey Pontiac (Rockville Centre) to Van Buuren Pontiac (Garden City)- 7/14/08
  
  
• Convertible Top Alignment- dealer installed new catch piece
• A/C Issue (not cooling consistently)- repaired with a new sensor
• Hood/Front Bumper Alignment (aligned correctly by Newbridge Auto Body)
• Hard Downshifting from 2nd to 1st Gear- repaired with 2nd new differential carrier
• Wheel stud stripped- replaced by dealer with new hub assembly
• Noise from right rear wheel- wheel hub assembly replaced
• Thermostat Replaced (coolant temperature jumping all over and hose fluid temperatures were varying from the norm)
• Bushings Squeaking for second time- used GM lubrication on them
  

Specification Notes to Self:

• Tire Pressure Recommendations with Current Set-Up- Front: 26psi, Rear: 28psi
• GM "Hotter" Spark Plugs Gapped to .030"

I named her Karma and I thought it was appropriate for the looooong road I went through to get the car.

Brief Background Story: I originally ordered one of the "Lost Sols" while in Iraq (July 2005) and after ENCS lost their allotment of 40 I got in the front of the Sky line. I lost that car when I returned from Iraq to find that the dealer wanted $2K extra. I did a 180 and got on the list for this car (#1 in Montgomery, AL) and ALMOST bought the car Mike currently owns after getting tired of waiting ... must be KARMA!
