Installed the B&I bronze burlwood dash kit...

Just installed the B&I Dash Kit in bronze burlwood....

In wanting to give my dash some life...and after looking at the dash of
others that have added a kit, I decided on the darker bronze burlwood
.....thought that this color matched the car style better than the lighter
woods....its a more subtle, rich color.
I've had several previous B&I kits and believe them to be of premium
quality and fit.... Though this kit came with several pieces, I only
installed two pieces....the dash/waterfall and the shifter pieces. I did
try the other pieces, but thought they screamed "add-on" and also
made the interior too busy/cluttered looking, so I removed them and just
stayed with the original 2 pieces.
I posted a pic out on my photobucket site, click on the link below in my
signature to see what it came out like....

I love it! Could you perhaps take some other shots of it (waterfall included)?

Absolutely wonderful!!! Was this the 13 piece set? or the 39 piece set? I am so glad you posted this since the bronze burlwood looks so dark as the sample shown at their website but perfect in your car. Thanks!
The back waterfall shot would be appreciated.

I bought mine thru Autoanything.com for $165 with free shipping....and since
I only used 2 pieces, (actually 3 pieces counting a little sliver piece), that
comes to $55 per piece....ouch!....but it looks much better now than with the
other 10 pieces installed....trust me...

As far as I know, B&I does not make a 39 piece set...this was the 13 piece
set.....the 39 piece is not made by B&I.....plus, man!... would your interior
look overdone with 39 pieces installed....really. I used 2 pieces in mine
which keeps it looking "clean".
I posted another picture, this time taken from the right side....its on my
photobucket site with the first picture...

yeah.....this dash will run you right at a $grand....too rich for my blood!
(You have to send in your current dash panel and get this in return for
just under $1000.) This is NOT a dash kit, its a dash. I was looking at
this option before....until I seen the price....

Nice look. Wonder which color would look good with the steel/sand interior?

....maybe even the same color....the darker woods just seem to add
richness and give the interior added class without being too loud....I think...

I do think that certain colored dash kits dress up the Solstice interior. In my case... if they ever come out with a satin finish rather than such a high gloss..I would buy it. Unfortunately...I haven't run across one yet.
