As Promised, here are some pics of my Sol with the Danny Whitfield Hood scoop, Saturn Sky Spoiler, and Norms Facia. I was going to replace the grille as well but I can't decide between the Mesh or the framed vertical billet. So that will get done as soon as I make up my mind. I have a pin striper coming to paint the "Solstice" logo on the facia white to match the white stripes I'll be doing soon.

I am also going to be putting a set of 18" ADR Propulsion wheels on, but I can't decide which finish (Hypersilver or hyperblack) would look best on my deep. Im open to any suggestions. I Posted Pictures of both finishes so you can see the diff.

Hypersilver

Hyperblack

That looks different. Hood scoop isn't for me. The wing looks like it will grow on me with more pics.

Nice work Truzz, looks really well done.

With regards to the wheels, they are both really nice looking. On the deep though I think I like the lighter wheels. I am personally not a fan of dark on dark, but that's just me mate. It's not like the other wheels are dark dark like black. Bottom line I think either will look really good.

Norm- Thanks a lot. You are the man, and your work is flawless.

Compression- The hood scoop is definitely not for everyone. Even took me a day to get used to, But i love it. And the pictures I took do not do the wing justice at all. I'll have to take more soon. It really goes with the flow of the car.

GregGXP- Thanks a lot for the kind words. I appreciate your input on my wheel situation as well. I was never one to like the dark on dark look either. I was all set on going with the silver and then one day I just kind of pictured those light black wheels on there with the white stripes im going to be doing and I thought It may look sharp. I'm hoping to get some more opinions and i'll decide from there.

I think I would like the scoop if it was molded into the hood of the car. And you are right about the wing. More pics will help.

Mods look good, also the hood scoop would have to grow on me but dual exhaust would look great!!! Maybe because I have the GXP with dual exhaust but it looks awkward with the single exhaust.

Looks Great ! Really like the rear fascia on the deep. Makes me wonder what it would look like on an Envy. Anyone got any pictures on green?

I like the wing. It does not seem to detract from the shape of the rear end like the OEM lip does. I am not crazy about the riveted on look of the hood scoop. I like the lighter silver wheels.

Looks good. As for your mesh vs. vertical grill decision I would opt for the mesh. Reminds me of the CTS-V grills and in my opinion doesn't looks as cheap.

I actually like hood scoops. I really want to see one in person though before I get something like that.....
However, when I get my stripes painted on I may just go ahead and get one. I like the look of that scoop better than the RK hood. RK is just a bit much for me,, that scoop looks a bit more reserved. I just wish it was functional somehow.

I'm going to get my stripes painted eventually. It's just going to cost me an arm and leg to get them painted and have a clearbra put on at the same time. I'm planning on doing all of that next spring I think.

Take a look at these two hoods.. see how the RK Sport juts out so much more than the other.

Lord willing, by October 13, you will have done THREE in Envious green. You may rest assured that I will post pics.

truzz,

I do _so_ appreciate your posting the photos. Your rear fascia pic made me sure that I want to do the same.
