I FINALLY got a chance to get some CNC machine time last Saturday to make this custom wind restricter that I designed myself. Pretty happy with the way it came out. It's made out of Polycarbonate, not Acrylic, so I can't light it up, but on the other hand, it won't break like the Acrylic will. By the way, Lucy is the name of the car
The A-pillar gauge pod has been in a couple of weeks, but I feel the gauge brightness is low, and 1 didn't display at all, and had to send it back for repair, which they said nothing was really wrong with it. Works now, that's all I know. The gauges are Aeroforce Interceptor gauges, which are OBD II units. They can display up to 52 functions the car monitors, each gauge having 2 displays. It's actually 4 gauges in 2. They also can diagnose error messages, whether engine, body, chassis, or whatever. You can manually turn on the engine fan with them. They can record data, like the Dashawk, just not as long. They can record 1/4 mile performance stat's, like 60ft, 1/8 mile, and 1/4 mile times and speeds, and save them.
They just plug into the OBD II port, so SUPER easy to install.

Those look awesome...both the gauges and the WR. I really like the Interceptor gauges.

They say no to adding 12v to CAN bus cars. They just plug into the OBD II port. Powered by that. I fished the cable thru the dash in the corner under the window, by the other cable.

Looks good. I really like the double fuction on the gauges. Saves alot of room in the car. I also might need to look into something like that.

I got them right from aeroforcetech.com, but there are a few suppliers out there, also. Each gauge is custom made, so no one stocks them. That's why I bought them from the factory. $410 including shipping for the 2 gauges, which is really 4 gauges. These are chrome bezel, black face, and red illumination, and IMO, match the factory gauges PERFECT!. Right now, after driving Lucy today, the gauges are set at ambient air temp, battery voltage, oil temp', and boost. There are 52 GM settings, but only about 20 are used by the Solstice. 2 additional analog sensors can be added, also. I like the ability to diagnose a check engine code with these gauges, as well as the performance recording abilities. The more I use them, the more I like them!
