Thanks Tony
Dave made some custom printed metal covers that fit into that slot. While they are nice, since its Punisher, Joey is airburshing them black with the glowing punisher head and flames.
What I would really like is a set of covers to go over the billet caps for the power steering, windshield washer, brake fluid, and coolant tank. They are the billet aluminum covers but they are the wrong color now. Can you make covers that I can put on them? I am thinking I will paint them gloss black and put a sticker on top with a custom label that shows what is under the cap but with the Punisher logo similar to the one on the oil filler cap.

So the power steering pump finally went yesterday. I drove it to work because of the 70 degree and sunshine weather. The pump started SCREAMING when I pulled into the parking lot. Good thing I have the Punisher F150 and Punisher car hauler. I have the replacement pump on order. Should be interesting as its in a March Performance mounting which means a special polished pully, two bolts to get the assembly demounted, three more bolts to get the pump free from its bracket, and then three more bolts to get the polished pump cover off the pump. Turns out its a standard 1984 Pontiac pump.

Pretty challenging day today. Worked for several hours trying to get the power steering pump out of the car. There is very little room. For a while it looked like I would have to pull the radiator to get at the mounting bolts. I finally ended up cutting down an Allen wrench to fit and after HOURS of straining and fiddling, I got the pully off and two of the four bolts out. I will get it put tomorrow.
The hose that was cut by the lower main pully is apparently not a stock sol unit. I am not sure how to find a replacement short of having one made.
This is a giant pain but at least it's progressing!
