Holy Cow Rob, do you have a 5 gallon drum of Punisher paint and stock in Chip Magic? I cant imagine this being cheap to do. Looks awesome, love the detailing.
What caliper provider did you use? How do they hold up. I've been thinking of doing this rather than going all out with bigger brakes.

Jeff has "special" rates for our club members and I get a bit more off that rate because I have done so much work there
It is actually not a bad price. Figure between $25 and $50 to custom paint a part like the wheel centers and engine caps. I think the brake calipers were $200 which included paying Joe to do the flames. Jeff does a lot of work for free, like making the Punisher head masks
I called them up and ordered them unfinished and without the normal machined in rivits and logo. They were very accomodating. If you are having them painted, unfinished is best
Also, Jeff uses his specially formulated clear that is highly resistant to chipping. I have had his painted wheels on for years.

Also installed the rear Punisher head in the exhaust strap. I ordered a bright LED light to back light the eyes. Should be available next weekend. I made some spacers so the painted skull is offset from the strap for visual impact once its illuminated

absolutely beautiful engine and bay area, as well as the rest of Punisher! I'm hoping one day to drop a LS3 into my solstice. I can't wait to see the LED in the rear eyes, it's going to be awesome!

I think I finally got the trunk lid opening the way I want it to work. I "adjusted" the anchor points for the torsion bars. Basically I used a hammer to move the anchor points forward about another quarter inch. Then I found a spring at Lowes that was perfect to be a kicker spring. It screws onto the rubber cap over one of the bolts and is just long enough to provide a quick boost to get the trunk lid moving upward smartly.

Punisher is back on the ground. Spent most of the day listening to football and working rewiring the lights. Got the backup lights working off the aux battery as well as the Windrestrictor is not lit by the lights or by the aux battery. I also installed a red LED spider light to light up the eyes of the Punisher head between the exhaust outlets. I took some quick pics but they are so bright that they dont show up well at all with my Apple camera. Will try to get some better ones later. This will do for now.
Also got some pics of the rear caliper covers with the wheels on the car.

So....
Murphy's law...installed the latest tune. Car lost its mind.
The BCM "forgot" my key and went into lockdown mode. I tried all the easy things and finally followed the relearn procedure. Turn on key, wait 10 minutes till the security light goes out, turn off for 30 second and repeat three times.
Then of course the pattern went dead...
Jumped it and it runs fine.
Sigh
