Hey, do any of you know if that chrome-removal trick would work on the door handles too?

Soup is the closest to an expert we have, maybe he knows.

I bought the unpainted replacement door handles with the reinforced attachment points.

My painter did both sets of handles on our cars by sanding the chrome plating off and then applying primer

Yeah... right.

I don't know if the Easy-Off will work on the exterior handles. It's FAR thicker chrome there, so if it DID work it would take a lot longer probably. You could always try and report back

Personally, I would just go on eBay and buy the Cobalt ones already in black. Pretty cheap.

The damage from 2010 is finally getting fixed! I trailered the car over to Chipmagic to get the front end repainted and a few odd bruises cleaned up. Hopefully it will be done by next weekend
