It quit raining today, so I took the car outside and got some more pics. I think it fits the car pretty good. I can't believe this came from a Taurus. They're so ugly. This thing is similar in size to the Sky spoiler, but shaped better for a Solstice. I still have not mounted it. My painting skills are not too good, and I want it to be perfect, so I'll keep trying 'til I get it right.

Just goes to show you that there really is value in old cliches

One man's garbage is another man's treasure.

Looks good (wtf am I saying), a plastic chunk of ford.... but looks good.

I like it as well but I've got an OT question for you. What kind of windrestrictor do you have, does it work well and do you experience any problems when putting up your top. BTW, like the wood dash also. Thanks

looks great!

I love going to the junk yard and to think you can find something for your new sol is inspiring.

Way to be a hot rodder and not just a consumer.

You know, after reading so much of your shi*, I think you are a problem on this board, let alone the world at large. Great you can inspire others to re-use old stuff for their cars, but you give any lady or man hell for saying anything you don't like about a "member of society running for a public office"? You know what? Get off your dead as* and get in a rally with people who care if you care. If not, shut up, as you aren't affecting change anyway. Instead of sitting there squatting in your toilet and bit*ching and moaning and yes, I agee, WHINING about others, don't slam women or men on a board but get out and do your own part for your cause.

You are the one who needs a tuneup beyond all others. You are the one who causes trouble and a rat is a rat. Let's just hope you don't end up in prison, or you'll be a wife to another or in protective custody. Maybe you need to BE a wife in order to know how to treat one. We ae not dissing the ladies around here anymore if we (as in a lot of us WE)can help.

Don't you think that is a bit off topic and maybe uncalled for in this thread. I would have to say something like that should be sent in a PM rather than posted in a thread where silversolstice showed no provocation.

I was enjoying reading this thread until this post.

Now, back on Topic...

As for the OP's choice of Spoiler. I LIKE IT! I think it fits the Solstice pretty darn well and I know you will get a lot of questions from other Sol owners about it. Pretty much a custom setup if I don't say so myself!

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. I tried painting it again, and I'm still not happy with the results. Today I gave it to someone who does a lot more painting than me to make it look better. When I get it back, It's going on the car.

My wind screen is from windrestrictor. It's the version 1 with etching and lighting. I never take it off, and I have no problems with it and the top. It doesn't block all of the wind, but I notice that I can hear the radio much easier at highway speeds with it. I think it's worth it if that was all it did. The Dash is not a kit, but taken apart and painted to match the dark red stitching in the upholstery. You can check out my mod page from the link in my Signature.

that looks pretty dang good.
I was a bit put off about the other spoilers, I wanted something a bit smaller and more compact. I like that one.

Might have to start looking around now.
