Ah, and when is this alleged 'droop' supposed to occur? Having not witnessed any droop personally, maybe I should make a note so I'll know it when I see it

And don't you (Deepbluegxp) be encouragin' him, either!!!

Having only see it from the outside with no chance to take any formal measurements I would say the statement above appeared to be correct

I hear that they make a little blue pill for that issue ... would not know about it first hand though

Mel,
I'm sorry about the dents. It really didn't look like you were overloading the luggage rack at all!!! Let us know how Dent Wizard does with the removal. We're glad you made it home okay.

I like mental pictures, they're soooo much better than reality, most of the time, anyway

I'm not going to get into all the comments about whether or not your rack is droopy or not, seems hearty enough to me! However, I'm really surprised that no one else has commented on how nice your rear end is!

AR, did you say you closed the trunk with the boxes on the rack? That could have caused it to flex. In addition, we have seen since we got these cars how many people have dented them with a misplaced hand when closing the trunk, so it doesn't take much to make the dents that show in your pictures.

I'm sure that if the rack (the metal one stuck on Kenny's back for you dirty minded folk) was bouncing during your trip you would have had more damage than slight paint damage and dimples with the miles you had to travel.
