Underbody LED Lights - Blue

This mod is for car shows only, not intended for driving.

I installed these in early Feb, Dark Tech (son) bought them for my b-day from Ebay for about $100. 4 tubes of wide angle LEDs that plug into a module and have a remote control. The install took about 3 hours because the bottom of the car is, well flat, so I had to figure out where to place the lights. I didn't want the tubes visable from the exterior of the car but yet I wanted to be able to show at night. Under the front bumper was not an option since I had the foldaway plate and we all have hit a curb now and then so I didn't want to damage it. The rear valance wasn't a mounting option either so I ended up installing that one on the bottom of the frame. I installed all tubes with the wires coming out to the left or forward. I installed the module above the ECM on the left side. All existing cables reached the module. The power for the module was ran across the the ending compartment inside some blue webbing I had, to the battery and I used a ground stud under the fuse panel.

Here are the pics

Left side, zip tied to the lines running in the channel.

Right side, this was more challenging since the channel was only half the distance of the left side. I checked the passenger area and it had padding to make up the difference where the channel wasn't. I screwed the clamps for the right side in the channel on an angle as to not protrude into the carpet. The forward screw I installed into the floor board into the padding. I used 3/8 long screws.

The back in installed to the frame on either end of the tube, I pre-drilled for the screws.

The front, I drilled two holes in 4 locations across the air dam in the center and used the holes to pass zip ties.

Thanks for posting this. It looks really great. Any chance of posting a vid with LED on while driving?

If you do a video of them while driving make sure you get the video of the Cop pulling you over as well, they are illegal to use while driving in every state I know of. Especially in blue or red as those are considered emergency colors reserved for police and fire. I have had them on my bike for years. You might get away with green or yellow, as yellow is OK for marker lights. They look so cool, I have seen them in person. DBG did a great job. I was in Myrtle Beach for bike week and they were installing them on bikes at the Suck Bang Blow parking lot. It got dark and I watched the guys turn on the lights go down the street about half a mile and get pulled over and get a ticket on 3 different nights. It was funny as soon as we saw someone pull out with the lights on we would all look down the street to see when more lights came on.

My clients are LilGoat and the Ex NY Governor. I'm running low on cash since I lost a client.
