Happened friday morning at about 4AM as I was coming back from Camp Lejeune to Cherry Point to leave for a little training det to Yuma, AZ (where I'm currently located). The little bastard just suddenly appeared out of nowhere, and I had no time whatsoever to swerve. After a cursory inspection on the side of the road using my cell phone as a flashlight, I continued back to the base pissed off as all hell. Upon arriving, I started to hear this horrible squeak/grind noise everytime I made a right turn, and this squeaking sound regardless of the direction I was going. Climbing under the car I discovered my entire wheel well liner had been cut up, my turn signal had broken off, and something was bent. Now, being 3 time zones away I cannot get in and perform a full inspection on a lift, or even post pictures. All I can do is order the parts (the car has to be running its best 2 weeks after I get back from AZ so I can make my final drive down to FL) I know are damaged and hope for the best, but I cant even find the damned things on GMPartsDirect.

I f**king hate opossums.

Sorry to hear about your run in with the local wild life!

Here is some info that might help you out:

Wheel well liners (fender liners)

Right side - #15254992
Left side - #1524991

gmpartsdirect price $38.47 plus approx s/h of $58.46 = $96.93

You said 'turn signal' but I presumed you meant Side Marker Lamp as the turn signal/foglight would indicate front fascia damage as well.

Right side - #25774950
Left side - #25774951

price $13.07 plus s/h of approx $10.95 = $24.02

With those shipping prices you might be better off going to a local dealer and have the parts ordered through the parts department. Even if the part is a little more expensive I have never been charged shipping through the dealer.

Thanks. I found those same parts last night but wasn't sure if they were the right ones. That S&H is ridiculous! I'll give my dealership a call later this week and see how cheap it'll be. They give an awesome military discount so I'm guessing it'll be a lot cheaper than $96. I think I'll just save up for the new side markers from Aftershock as soon as I get back from this training deployment in AZ.
