Amazing numbers. And some people argue tunes are not about numbers. And I too want to see engine pics!

It's not much to look at enginewise, most of it still sits behind the heat shield, but ill take some tomorrow

Congrats! With Wester's race tune, I've been running lambda on the PE table to .776 to get 12:1 AFR at 7000 & 25psi with my Mitsu16g install and gotten 33.5VE= about 335rwhp at 6500rpm attached is the PE table I'm using and my scan showing WB02 AFR. Let me know if it helps.

Here's the scan. Note limp mode again after 3 sec above 23psi - time to reinstall the IAT2-Reg set at 22psi
I thought it attached, sorry, the forum won't take that file extension

Nice. Let me get this straight. Stock bottom end? How is the clutch taking the massive increase? Get rid of the pipe and the air intake. I want to see a 400hp dyno
Great work!!!!

You could always add an extra .txt to the end and then we remove it on our side Or post it up in the HPTuners thread where we all seem to hang out

all cars are going to fight detonation if you advance too much, the gxp car fights detonation and pulls spark even with 93 octane and our car is probably tuned to something like 96 octane but the ecu is fast enough to pull spark in time, I monitor this in real time and I know it as a fact

the original poster's point is he gets this horsepower with pump fuel, he can get a more aggresive tune with more spark if he had detonation relief, higher octane costs dollars, water injection will fight pre ignition n pump gas and if he wants to get more spark he can safely tune for it with water injection, on pump gas can he add spark if he gets water injection

Dave I'm going to try that table and see how it works for me.

Are you running the stock plugs? If so are they the early 07 (colder) or the later (hotter) version? In looking over the stock tunes for early 07s vs 08s it looks like there are some spark table changes that were made. I started this thread on the HPTuners forum Solstice GXP 07 to 08 Stock Tune Ramblings - HP Tuners Bulletin Board and have been running just one of those tables "AFR Spark Advance Correction - Add" with the Westers and think it smoothed things out quite a bit for me. Gonna play with adding the rest and see what it does before I try Dave's other table.

I'm not sure if they're the colder or hotter, my car is an early 07' model (april 07) but it doesn't run rough or seem to blow out spark at any rpm so I dont think there's a need to mess with it yet. I did update to the 08 spark advance table.

Interesting, I took my car to the track soon after installing Wester's tune and made several passes. The car stumbled at the top end on 2nd, 3rd and most of 4th. I added fuel but never fully solved the problem that night (only got a 13.2@106). Since then, with a richer AFR, it seems to go away, but now I get limp mode at 25+psi sustained. (see my MAT-Tricker thread). attached is my scan, .hpt file (changed to a .txt extension for uploading) let me know what you think.

Dave I get a similar limp at sustained, I only really see it in fourth gear, what are you doing to combat it?
