At 23 lbs your probably bleeding at least a slight pressure through your stock TBV already. One advantage would be to able to set max blow off above that pressure if your capable of producing it to begin with depending on your set-up and progamming.
I run a Tial but not vented to the atmosphere. I enjoy the suprised sleeper victoms unsuspectedly getting dusted more than I would the obnoxious blow off valve noises personally. For some reason, I'm not sure why, I think the loud BOV obcession is related to large penis envy.
If your BOV is set up correctly you wont throw codes, and in worst case, cancel the TBV monitoring through your programming using HP Tuners....Jim

Hate to bring up the dead horse but I'm about to replaced my bypass valve, have we come to a conclusion as to which one really works best for our cars? Yes i don't care i want it for the noise factor.

I've always used turboXS for my wrx and my old 3000gt vr4, but i keep hearing about synapse instead of HKS so i come to all of you experienced with changed b.o.v's for assistance, i want to be able to vent to atmosphere as synapse is quiet :/

Current mods
Solo high flow cat , Trifecta tune, Solo dual center exhaust, ic pipes, radiator hoses.
