Our final piece is in with any luck. We have a little bit more testing to do on it but it should be ready soon.

SpecRaceM5,
I am definitely interested in pricing, pictures, and availability for the CAI. Please let us know when it is ready.

Don't get upset. John just happened to be the closest person we knew with a turbo car. That being said, we do want to fit this on a GXP. Even though they are the same car, small details tend to make things not fit, and that always seems to happen when we assume it will without trying first. So if anyone is in driving distance of Temecula and is willing to come out and get a taste of developement for themselves, send me a pm and we will discuss the details.
Brian

I've gotten a quote of around 640 cfm for a similar sized filter from K&N. And for their replacement of the stock Solstice filter, about 900 cfm. NOTE: Those are maximum capacities. Obviously the engine might not be able to pull the maximum, even at wide open throttle.

It's okay if you all hate me, but I thought I was doing you guys a favor...
Actually, this development stuff is quite interesting. It is not without its ups and downs, though. It is amazing the stuff that comes up when doing this sort of development. Always interesting stories.
And while the SKY might have won out on this intake for the ECOTEC turbo, you Solstice guys have OWNED the ECM Retune arena... SKYs came out with a different chip and different software. We had to wait forever for improvements there.
I guess the grass is always greener... Or "more envious-er" to my Solstice pals!
