I notice it comes with a cat delete pipe. Is this a fitment thing or a performance thing? Will it still fit with a 3" (non-factory) cat?

It's both, with the external gate inside there (and inverted) to hide it from the prying eyes of the public it was impossible to put an adequatly sized Cat in the stock locale.

Actually scratch that, the stock cat would fit with the right endtank -just wouldnt have the WG flow coming thru it.

I have a few monolith's in mind that will physically fit and be adequate in Mass to not turn into a platinum/ceramic mess after 4 or 5 full throttle blasts (your doubling the heat input with all this "extra" power).

If sufficient demand exists, I will proceed with the engieering of a correctly sized and performance oriented Catalyst. It will be then offered to kit owners that require it at an very inexpensive rate.

All exhuasts that will bolt up to the stock cat flange will work fine. All mods after the factory compressor discharge elbow will work fine. (intercoolers, piping from Hahn or Double D should fit no prob).
But other manufacturer's downpipe or highflow cat's wont directly bolt on here. The position of the turbine shaft is lower and spread more twards the pass side of the vehicle to fit that honkin' GT30 in there.

BTF a few questions for a very intrigued buyer!

Will this system pass state emissions without a cat? It's not something I have to do for a while but it would be nice to know.

Since I already have the Westers tune would I need to send you my ECM, or could I just email you my tune and have you tweak it. I have access to HP Tuners to flash the ECM. I also have my stock and upgraded tune saved to my computer. Or could I just add your enhancements on top of my Westers tune? How would this work?

How difficult is the entire install. I know how to turn a wrench and have done most of the mods to my car myself in my driveway. Assuming average skill and speed how long should it take to install in a driveway? What, if any, special equipment is required for the install?

Do you have any pics of the whole thing laid out? It would help me understand exactly what is included.

Does the turbine speed datalogger come with a gauge (I assume not) or is it more used with data acquisition electronics for testing purposes?

AWESOME work and thank you for being a guinea pig in an effort to make our cars faster than they should be!

It wont pass the visual if the guy really really goes poking around. I did my very best to make it stock appearing and to make it really hard to tell there is no cat. Down the road if it becomes a problem the highflow cat will become a priority and as I said be made availible to kit owners on the cheap.

I can tweak your existing westers tune, or show you how to use the compare file function to make the changes . Really only changes to the MAF tranfer, ignition, and cam tables are nessicary.
Hptuners makes a list of whats different, you go thru the tables, set to compare file and put all things to Zero (as in zero difference to the one your comparing it to)
.

No special equipment, it's a 2-4 hour job your first time. hand tools only, jackstands.
Go back to stock in the same time or less.

Do you have any pics of the whole thing laid out? It would help me understand exactly what is included.

Yes, I 'll take even more today.

Does the turbine speed datalogger come with a gauge (I assume not) or is it more used with data acquisition electronics for testing purposes?

It most certainly does, for your money you get the delux kitTurboByGarrett.com - Accessories
It's the second pic down. You get everything needed, I CNC machine the compressor housing for the sensor.
The guage will fit nicely in one of the AC vents.

AWESOME work and thank you for being a guinea pig in an effort to make our cars faster than they should be!
Thanks bud! It's great to feel appreciated!

I posted up the pics in the group buy thread. I took a video as well but the wind noise & shoddy camera work make it unworthy. But you can at least see it roll up on 23psi by 3200rpm in 4th from a cruise.

Race exhaust will bolt right up as will your intercooler pipes.

the fujita gets resold. the intake for the Gt30 is HUGE.

Finally HPTuners has looked our way. Perhaps in the next few weeks we'll be able to turn up the rpm and set it on kill finally.

Then we'll see the difference between stock exhaust and NONE. Via dynographs.

As it is right now, you can stay below 19ish psi and it won't give you any trouble with reduced power mode.

I'm looking into what will be required for stage 2, (there will be upgrade paths from each of my products) now that the ball has possibly begun to roll at HPT.

It will be the same kit +GT3582R, headstuds, valvesprings and retainers.
Possibly a balance shaft delete, I'm not sure.

It will look almost identical to a stage 1, but should be able to make 500whp or more and be a very angry little beastie indeed between 4000-8000RPM. I dont know about you but I just cant wait to see the needle make it's way around ALL of the tach! lol

Id be willing to wager that number comes on pump gas+meth.

I posted up some vids of 4th gear from 1800ish Rpm to 4K on the thread in my vendor section.
They aren't the best quality, but it shows the threshold and boost charicterisitics on my setup +all stock everything else.

BTF, can you get a current dyno for us? I'd like to be able to see exactly how well its pulling up to the stock RL, then interpolate the data myself.

Yes. I can even do it New Era on his dynojet to make it more apples/apples. IF and thats a big freakin if,hpt gets us a beta within the next week or two as promised it will be alot more impressive.
I havent installed a westers torque delete/rev control so im still shutting down at 6300 and will go limp running my current boost(22psi,spring alone) over 4 sec. So it will require me to do the run in a gear that keeps it under that time frame.
