Been looking at the CAI's available from our supporting venders. Booth look good but...My question is this. There is a braded line from the engine right side head area that goes into the black adaptor that joins the airbox. From the photos here of the two CAI's I do not see where this line is fitted into either. What is this line? What does it do? Is there a mounting point for it on the two CAI's that cannot be seen in the photos? Is it considered unecessary and left disconnected which doesnt make sense to me but not knowing what it does guess it wouldn't.
Really appreciate any coments.
I can see in the pics that the fujita has the line mount on it. I am sure the werks does too but in the pics I can see of it I think it is down closer to the turbo and blocked by the other pipe. I think it is the dump line for the blow off valve. It returns the overpresured air back into the intake line. I think. If I am wrong on what it really is I appologize. I haven't looked at that line that close yet.

That's it exactly, it's there just blocked by one of the intercooler pipes.
