I just installed my Dejon IC pipes in black and I love them. They fit great. I ordered the aluminum pipes and used hump hose to connect them to the intercooler itself (not required). The now match my engine caps. I also removed the two large black brackets that go underneath the smaller black rods that screw into IC pipes. They were bulky and ugly. I also emliminated the two brackets near the front of the car. They were not needed and I had Dejon Dave not weld on the bottom clip. Much cleaner look IMO, plus I could go deeper into the hump hose with the pipes to prevent hood rubbing.

I'm thinking this might need to be a change Dave needs to make to all of them

I would relocate one of the hump hoses to the turbo, since the pipe near the intercooler is held on by two brackets it rarely moves so it doesnt really need a hump hose.

I am having a very slight rubbing problem on the drivers side (cold) pipe. It is rubbing on the tab that holds the hood insulator on. I removed those tabs once, so it looks like I have to order new ones for the new insulator I am working on.

Looking good ... did you get these couplers from Dejon, or somewhere else? I am about to install the Dejon Intercooler and want to upgrade the couplers. BTW, What size are they? Thanks for any information!

I got them from Stylin' Motors...search for them. They have to make them. They are 2 3/8 inch (inner diameter) x 6 inch hump hose.

I love the GMPP CAI. It looks really nice and performs well. It is not too loud, and I like that the MAF sensor is relocated to right near the filter. That will eliminate any turbulent readings. I guess there is a reason the GM engineers made it this way.
