i never said that, i said disconnecting the vacuum line does not impair it of staying sealed. if you'll kindly look at my above posts you'll see that. next time get it right before you put words in my mouth.

i only said that when you said that theres absolutely nothing else holding it sealed. all i know is without having it hooked up the car runs fine, no boost leaking, and orks great

The only reason i think this "boost leak" doesnt seem to affect you that much is because the air is being recirculated back into the turbo rather then escape into the atmosphere. But that still doesnt mean that everything is rosey, the ecm is probably wondering where that extra air going to so it probably increases boost to compensate.

I dont recommend doing this, a block off plate would be best, but whatever its your car... lets leave it at that.

Help!

My ED IC pipes arrived, and I've been trying and trying to get them to line up, but they just won't. It seems an inch short. What the hell am I doing wrong? Anyone else have this problem? any pointers or something I have to remove to get clearance?

I've removed the stock support arm for the OEM hot side pipe for clearance, and still not there.

I have a Fujita Intake as well, if that matters but probably doesn't.

Thanks

squirt a little 409 or something slippery around the bottom of the pipe and it should slide into the hose farther.
