Since the news has been broken elsewhere the official part # is 19212670 can't order it yet since they're attempting to build up stock.
Since you can confirm the final part#, can ya confirm the rest of that HHR post which continues on by saying HHR auto trans goes from 260 to 290hp at 5200rpm, while the manual trans HHR goes to 315hp at 4800rpm? The claim was that that info came from GMSPO. Any idea whether those HHR numbers, if true, will be realized on the Kappas?

This is the same type of information that the GM spokesperson(s) gave us at NOPI.
The Cobalt and HHR Stage Kit tune was good for 310 - 315 BHP.
When I asked if this would work on the Solstice\SKY they said it was also been tested on the GXP.
However they quickly pointed out they were from the Cobalt\HHR platform and that was what they were promoting, even though they had invited the other platforms.

Wishful thinking on the HHR owners side I'm guessing. The automatic HHR is already limited to 235 HP on the LNF engine due to the automatic transmission. It makes no sense at all that the auto HHR Stage II would then get the power level of what all the other vehicles are supposed to be getting with a system that can't even handle the stock power as is. Let alone why the manual HHR would get more than the others.
The word I've heard is the 290~295 HP for the Stage II which applies to all LNF vehicles, and until I hear anything different that's what I'm sticking too. The rest is just wishful hoping based on rumors and false info.

Considering they had said the jump was from 260-290ish, I am assuming they mean at the crank? Wouldn't that prove to be GM going conservative once again, as the Westers tune is putting close to or at those numbers down at the wheels.

Make up your mind. You say wishful thinking for the HHR auto folks to get a bump, then you say all LNF vehicles get a big bump.
Also, 235hp in 1st & 2nd gears doesn't mean the engine has to be held back at all levels... as is clear based on the stock curve on the HHR auto. There's no reason that GM wouldn't continue to tun accordingly for the auto... ie, keep the lower gears soft.
Your speculation and rumor is just speculation and rumor on top of other speculation and rumor. So is mine.

As most long termers here know, my posts 90% of the time are not based on speculation or assumptions.
The wishful thinking is for the 315 HP. They may have mixed up and gotten confused with the 310~315 lbs-ft of Torque value. It's also clear from the stock Solstice curves we're putting out more power and way more torque than the listed values, so it's not surprising to see it on the HHR as well. Having talked to the GM engineers at the Mecca 2 tour this last year along with several others, GM was not planning on pushing over 300 HP from this setup and actually had a different setup in mind to get over the 300 HP mark that has since been canned.

I think you guys are waiting for a ghost, GM is all talk and no action, I'm sick of waiting for this GM stage 2 kit. Hopefully they will get this kit out before i'm gone....There are other options folks!!!
The most agrivating thing is the total lack of information. GM tells us for the last 3 years every little detail about the upcoming Camaro, but they won't release any info on a tune that is supposed to be out last month? Why the big secret? Is it coming or not? When? What is it?

exact thing happened with the stage kits for the cobalt ss/sc, and the ion redline a few years ago. nothing but a bunch of speculating and rumors for what seemed like forever with no info from gm. and that was before there sales went to hell.

These types of addons are pretty much small side projects. They get worked on as there's time and don't have solid deadlines. Pretty much "done when it's done" type of thing. With this type of design setup they don't have big budgets or money thrown at them so they take time. If issues pop up they make it take even more time. Then these types of things have to go through CARB validation which is more time and money and then they have to build stock for them. I have a feeling we're on the last stage right now.
