I think you guys are waiting for a ghost, GM is all talk and no action, I'm sick of waiting for this GM stage 2 kit. Hopefully they will get this kit out before i'm gone....There are other options folks!!!
There are plenty of options out there and most far less expensive. That is why this car is so great! Wait if you want, don't if you don't. I can wait, I have a bunch of other mods I need to complete first.
INdeed, but most of us are all hot to trot on this for the expanded range of it's pressure sensors/brain.
For myself, greaseyjocky,Dave, and lots of others its the difference between 385whp (23psi) or punishing the roll with deep 400's low 500's.(30+)
Lets just hope that they made it worth our while with the 3.5 bar sensors instead of the 3bar.
On other forums I'm seeing a lot of speculation that GM is going to announce this at SEMA in November. Makes sense to me as well, so we can hope!

I hate to be the party pooper, but I don't think it's going to come out any time soon, GM has bigger worries right now, like staying afloat in this ailing economy. They just don't have the budget to play with tunes for our cars...

The question is whether they made it far enough through the productization cycle before GM realized they needed $10-15B to stay afloat. Because of the size of the bureaucracy, this may well have squeaked through before budgets started getting whacked... or not.
I don't think so, I bet they will make a tune for the camaro before our cars. The only way is if there is a write up in a magazine or something showing them there is a big enough demand for it, sorry our solstice community isn't big enough like the corvette or camaro. Just my 2 cents.

Its bigger than you think. GXP, Redline, and both SS's which sell alot more that GXPs and Redlines combined
I remember reading an article way back when the solstice first came out and they really bashed the performance of the N/A, and GM answered back with the GXP. So in order for us to get a tune from GM we need to have our voices heard.
This is a real tuff one, I too was waiting for the tune, I went through two solstices and still nothing, I love this car, especially my new mean yellow GXP, but I don't think they will come out with a tune, by the time they do, they will be far inferior, than some after market tunes. And everybody is bent on the warranty issue too, even with the GM tune you won't be covered, read the fine print on many GM performance part add ons.
Usually when something like that comes out there is lots of hipe about it, but I haven't heard anything other than us talking about it here on the forum. What's the big secret, if it does come out and I hope, great, but all I've heard so far is a bunch of speculation.
They did announce it at SEMA... LAST YEAR in 2007! Ha..ha.
Maybe they will announce it again this year, and get everyones hopes up again. Hope I'm wrong, come on GM are you going to do this or not, simple answer please!!!!
