One of the other GM Engineers, Steve Padilla, (his Solstice was the guinea pig for the first out of box install) indicates he's seeing increased mileage on his DIC, and has indicated it's probably due to the much-optimized torque curve on the new tune... since it takes less pedal to get the car moving.

Lots of review information from Steve here--

I talked to my dealer here in Tallahassee about the install.
They said 1 hour for the ECM, and 1-2 hours for the kit since they have not installed one yet.
Does this sound right? They offered flexibility (on the price of the install I think) if I found better on the web.

lol i wish our techs were as good as Jippy Lube. i am thinking about taking mine out of town for tis as our GM service here allways have that "Deer in the head lights look" when you walk in. The service people wanted to put in the SC stage two on my Sol! It seems they are not even aware that the colbolt is turbo now! wonder how that would have went? Upgrade your LNF to a SC/Turbo. anyone in AZ have a GOOD GM service that they can recommend?

Maybe I should pop up a web page for you, offering the whole job for $29.95 if that would help with the negotiation.
