CreateEngineDepot would be better able to answer, working day in and day out with GM Performance Parts, but......
Here is the GM Performance Parts warranty statement that has been posted here on site in several threads:
Quote:
GM Performance Parts Warranty
Due to the nature and intended usage, GM performance parts (except for engines and partial engines, refer to warranty statement on page 24) are sold without any express or any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The entire risk as to the performance of such parts is with the buyer. Should such parts prove defective following their purchase, the buyer and not the manufacturer, distributor, or retailer, assumes the entire cost of all necessary servicing, repair, damage or loss to property and consequential damage.
Installation of GM Performance Parts may adversely affect the GM New Vehicle Warranty.
Though requested, do not remember seeing any post of any special or seperae warranty coverage statements that may come with a GM Performance Parts' CAI systems.

Perhaps a contest for the first 2008 Solstice GXP owner to add the system and post pictures. Maybe JustMike will let you cut to the front of the line for the next plant tour?
I think that is a photo of the intake for the 2.4, the intake for the LNF would be on the right side and shorter. What are all the accessories over $350

The ADI in Guadalupe AZ, which probably supplies your dealership, is showing one in their stock. If true your dealership could have it a day or two, depending on the ADI's shipping policies.
A side point, it was announced to Saturn Retailers on 12/5, no message yet for Pontiac dealerships.
Evil.....
Someone else will have to try it out because my moment of "Ohhh" has passed and reality has slapped me and reminded me that I already have mods in the works (audio system, exhaust/cat). Must resist the urge.....
must...

Could be, I just lifted it from our local ADI's site.

Hey guys. I just ordered this from crate engine depot. The tech guy told me it won`t throw any codes because it`s dry and not wet. The after market ones throw oil into the O2 sensor and srews with the computer. It wont void your GM warrany either. He said anything with GM on it wont void the warranty. He only had 1 in stock, and he only had it for a couple of days, so I ordered with him on the phone. I`ll post seat of the pants results soon.

The "air intake kit" is listed as a '08 GXP accessory and is not listed for the '07 GXP as an accessory. Will it fit/work on an '07? (Or did I just miss something in earlier posts)

The wording in the Saturn announcement message was: "Please note that the intake is not approved for the 2007 Sky Redline".
Since, as you found, it is only listed for the 2008 Solstice GXP, would assume that it is also "not approved for the 2007 Solstice GXP".
Does "not approved" mean that it will not "fit/work"?

Well we do know that the BSR tune for the 2008 had to be modified from the 2007 setup so the issue I suspect is not will it fit but rather will it not throw a code (probably MAF related) on the 2007. Just guessing of course

I just ordered mine, should be in tomorrow. I have a 2007, parts guy looked at the vin number and said if it had an "X" on the 8th (maybe 10th) digit, it would work. Sure hope so.

It wasn't just the fact that they used oiled filters, because I've run an oiled K&N on my 07 GXP for 6+ months as have many others with no issues. Most of it had to do with how air was being passed over the MAF causing issues to happen.

I seriously hope it works on the 07's too... My guess is they just state 2008 since it was probably designed on a 2008 so they didn't have to go back and test the older 2007s to validate them on those as well. Who knows though... I don't know of anything mechanically different between the cars besides the change in the brake system. And I believe any of the new ECU upgrades that have come out for the 2008 have been put on some 2007s too. Crap, I seriously hope they don't do this same thing with the Stage Kits...

Well I have an X in my 8th and 9th positions of my VIN and my car was made back in 2006. So hopefully it will work.

According to the tech guy from GM parts, he said this will fit 07 GXP and SKY Redlines. There`s no difference in the 08 engine that would differenciate the two years. Plus, like Brentil posted, I also have a X in the 8th digit of my Vin#. So this baby should work fine.
