I know you aren't the first one to do this, but I'm not sure how the other one pulled it off. A local motorcycle shop did his tuning. I'm still trying to find out more details...no luck so far...

lol, Im fully prepared. I dont forsee an issues with in the 26-28 lbs/min range. The ecm hasnt given me troubles in a variety of experiments. for 6K miles.
The latest being my 4" intake. It stepps down at the plastic elbow, looks like it'll be 4" all the way now.
from the look of things I should be able to CNC the adapters in one piece, which will be nice for accuracy and repeability.
The only realm beyond my control so far is rpm range and boost pressure. But I could always use some help pressing our needs over on the HPtunerforum!
If I dont have anyhting on the Dyno I'll make a few stock (turbo) pulls for comparison's sake. My dynomite reads lower then most folks are used to, similar numbers to a Mustang dyno.
amen brother! no obsticals are insurmountable!
But truly, a recurve of the MAf to reflect the pipe dia along with some tuning of the MAF vs Load tables fixes the CEL's. I just want her to sing her heart out to 7200 to make use of the turbo.
More posts on the HPtunerforum! the squeeky wheel gets the grease after all...
Id be inclined to agree dave, however it's merely a software issue. Chris,Bill and the rest of the guys are hard at work on the ETC based limits we're all facing. Now that SEMA is wrapped up it'll return more to Business as usual for them.
I look at it this way. winter's here, my wife doesnt need to daily drive it anymore. If it has any small issues. It really wont matter till spring.
lol "big" turbo's. Im so used to thumper based stuff that it pushes my fat little pillsbury button to hear a GT30 called big.
But I guess when stuck next to the KO4 it is, lol.
A GT40R should put the motor to well over 600hp. I don't think the stock engine is going to survive that turbo, lol.
What kind of fuel upgrades/management are you planning for the GT30?
You;d be really suprised what a stock motor can survive. Ive had stuff come across the dyno where we all wanted to wear Riot gear to guard from the schrapnel. Then - no boom.. Then you'll put some mundane car/truck on there and the driveshaft lets go. RUN!!!!!
The gt30 should be well within the stock fuelsystem's realm. even maxed the hell out. Ive only seen 27% injector duty cycle so far (albeit that # will fatten up even at the same HP with more RPM) It appears the PCm monitors fore and aft pressure around the mechanical pump. If we can get that PID then monitoring primary pump dropoff will be easy.
Likely a 340SS will go in the tank if an issue arises.
My buddy BRian has our LNF piston on his desk over at Wiseco. Wiseco bought carillo too.
My crystal ball sees a rod/piston package coming... likely a preemptive move. wifey will be real pissed if she kicks the rods out of the block. Then I'll be sleepin on a cot, next to the vette in the shop.

I believe there is a pressure sensor on the pump/rail. If they are wildly changing pressure,(and it does from 750-2200psi) then they are going to need to know exctly what that pressure is to calculate what injector flow will be at that instant.
had to work late tonight, prolly get started when I get home. As a side note I stayed up late last night building a mold from the stock engine cover. MMM red/black carbon fiber.....
MY wife wants turbo anodized PURPLE! when Im done fitting it. I gotta talk her outta purple... I mean cmon yellow and purple? thats soo 90's
CNC's making the flanges for the adapter right now. There will be a small extension to make the geometry work, making an external gate a non issue should the need arise.
coolant lines should work with rebending, stock oil drain
Need new oil feed line, they are different thread sizes.
Stock downpipe is going to work fine,w small extension adapter was required there as well.
i'll take some pics later on tonight
