Here's is lilgoat's dynosheet. It was on a dyno dynamics with a dynoject correction applied.
I'll convert the 16.5psi run to dynojet correction and post it in a sec here.

So rougly comparing (dunno what boost was) the stock turbo crushes the GT30R by 40-50ft lbs for torque until 3500 where they meet. Then by 4K the gt30R has 90ftlbs on it. For a total HP difference of 30ish whp up top.
When we continue the Rev's past 6300 I beleive the largest difference will reveal itself.

Edit- Lilgoat jsut PM'd me that the run was made at 19psi. About 2.5psi more than the GT30Run.

I can take the 20psi run and apply the dynojet correction factor. that will be close enough.

Just remember that this is in 2nd gear so torque peak should be about 1Krpm lower.

Nice BTF. THe difference is, once we get rid of some of the nanny issues, the GT will show itself even more so. But thats a nice gain, larger turbo, less boost.

anyone care to speculate when the head will lift? Im thinkin around 500hp if it occurs below 6krpm. The cyl pressure will be insane. Ive already seen 1.7 g/cyl loading. Highest of any Gm ive had across the rolls.
If my Vette was making this specific output at 6.7L that would be 1120 whp.

Yeah man, this motor really does need to learn how to rev.

Even with a set of mild cams and the VVT, this motor should be singing to 7500 RPM.

Although I wouldn't feel safe at 500WHP at 7500 rpm, rods probably aren't that robust.

Since cams are being mentioned, Ive noticed that gravana is offering several cam options for the 2.0 now. I believe 5 "stages" of them. Would this kit benefit?

Are they for the LNF of LSJ? we still have the intake pumplobe issue. As far as I know the general isnt shipping blanks for LNF's to cam grinders until engine production quota is met.

It isnt signing off until the throttle shuts when under 20psi. I beleive the stock bumpsticks will carry us to at least 7K+.
I also beleive the stock rods are robust. 500whp-doable but like you said perhaps not at those inertial loads. Typical rod bolt failure- not compression beam fracture.
I gauruntee pistons are coming that are 100g's lighter at the same strength. significantly reducing the inertial loads on the rods.

You know they pop up when you enter a solstice gxp but it may just be a misprint and for the LSJ. They say for the 2.0 and 2.2 so I am almost certain that i the case now. Alas.

Anywho heres the link anyways 2007 Pontiac Solstice GXP 2.0 - Engine - Gravana Tuning

BTF, maybe you should start making some phone calls to CompCams and Crane and ask them if they are developing anything for the LNF.

Have not seen the picture but the high pressure fuel pump is run off one of the cams from a 3 lobe setup. Maybe u are seeing that.

Yes, weve covered that one in depth. Hence the excitement over the TRI-bump humps.
