Is 350whp possible on 91 octane pump? Would I have to run a GT35R to do it?

350whp is very doable and can easliy be accomplished with the gt3076R.
You'll only need the GT3582R if you want to push north of 450whp.
I saw something interesting today, Summit Drag Raceway (originally Norwalk) is hosting the Pontiac Tri Power Nationals. An argument could be made that this track is the finest in the country. When is the last time you saw a dragstrip where parking and staging is all asphalt.
I wonder if they have a place for the Solstice or just an open bracket.

Atlanta Dragway and Cecil Motorsports Park in GA are both all asphalt,
The majority of our local dragstrip is. NYRP on 36 in leicster.
After the track opens in april
Take a friday off, shoot up here in the mornng, we can tune by noon. Mow down a Wahlburger on our way out to the drags, friday night test and tune starts at 5pm and runs untill 11 if there is enough cars there.

Hmmm Kappa tour? HEY GM! how bout sponsoring a points based mini series for kappa cars the the average joe/joan can get in on with their "street"car. drag + solo + roadrace
best all around score wins bad to the bone GM ecotec motor. Or maybe the first kappa coupe off the line? I'd beat the S outta the car for that one.
Backto reality,
MAybe a spring time hoedown, dynoshowdown,+pigroast? If we get enough people signed on I might be able to get the track owners to give us a day for a bracket and heads up class for kappa's only. It sure would be fun.
Winners gets Kappa goodies? vendors could throw in on the pot for obvious advertising/participation.
Springtime is beautiful in western NY. Hotels are cheap and Letchworth State park is not 10 min from the dragstrip. It's breathtaking, a nice weekend cruise thru the park with tons of kappas would be cool as hell. It's my favorite eastern state park. index

you can rent the track in rochester for the day. i wanna say its 500 bones for 8 people and 50 bux a head after that for the tree, the tower, and saftey/ emergency crews. a bunch of my friends from syracuse are already planning on renting it for a day this spring, but an all kappa day would be badass

BTF What do you ESTIMATE the cost would be for your package? Are you going to support your hardware with tunes also or will there be an upcharge for this service?
You mentioned a porsche turbo, what would the benefits be?

I know what it is down to the last penny. Id have it up but I wanna make sure every last detail is recreated in production. Dont want any issues when they get in your hands.
I will publicly post my tunes and give support on this forum and my own. Free of charge.
In addition I have been in a mad dash to finish the last 4 custom cars I have in my shop. Once they are done I will be finished in that area of biz. BTF Racing inc. will then be a production only company.
Beginning soon however I will be working part time during the week for friend's shop doing tuning and installs on GM's. He will be on the sidebar soon.
This moving & building a new shop stuff is costly!
Any good artists out there wanna earn $100 off their turbo kit by coming up with a sweet looking company logo that will fit Brentil's sidebar size requirements?
Alrighty Im happy with everything.
I'll be sending Brentil his 3 mos rent today!
So Im trying to figure out how I can turn the tach signal from the garrett turbine speed guage into 0-5Vdc in a linear fashion.
I would very much like to be able to plot turbine speed on my HPT module.
I can monitor it on the Dynomite board I guess. but that kinda makes it messy.
If any one wants to do some nice reseach I could install the speed sensor on their stock turbo. It will be the definiitive answer to when to stop revvin it. you'll be at the high end of the guages 180,000rpm sweep!
Anyone know what the cost on a stock Cat is? Im going to re-tank them to fit. Gm spent alot of dough on that catalist, and worked hard to select the right volume and chemistry. It also will be the most accuratly modeled (for temp)by the software.
