Did you have to redo any maf calibrations when you stuck in the cold side pipe?
Yup, use the compare file function and you'll see a 16% +1gram offset on the whole deal followed by some patchwork here and there with the Load vs MAF table where I have loaded the motor and saw KR that was not boost related.
Next she's going in the 4" inlet pipe in draw thru config w/recirculation. I have data on that if you'd like to see it also.

It'll be a blessing if they did, but i thought they put the project on hold while they finished up the ford stuff?
UNfortunatly I just got news that we wont be in the next release. bummer. Perhaps mid summer at the earliest. I replied with a thankyou for a honest definitive answer and a note to Chris that the LNF community is not above bribery..lol
Hey I don't know much about turbos but I am a fan of my dads redline. I may be just blowing hot air, but i found a website, Squires Turbo Systems - Turbocharged Innovation!, who sells custom remote turbo kits, I was wondering if you could make a twin turbo kit. Keep the stock turbo and put another in the back. Of course i may be blowing hot air but i thought i'd ask.
Maybe we should pool our money together and send an engine and computer to a Japanese tuner [HKS, Mine's, Top Secret, Blitz ect] and let them tinker with it.

None of those companies tinker with ecm's, and mine's is a tuner shop. And i doubt any would want to touch an american car.
By the time I learned it, HPT will be done with it. It has been determined that the PCM and op system is the same on HHR SS's and likely anything wiht the LNF. It's coming soon. It has too, since there will be a huge community of LNF users looking for software.
It's not that it's hard, it seems that they have justplain stopped so they could take care of those shiity fords.(iF anyone need help in the ponies it's a ford).
Chris/Kieth dont have a timeframe cause they arent doing anything on it.
BTF. HPtuners don't sell software they sell the hardware. They will wait until someone like you does all the work on their stupid suite!! Then if you want to use your tune someone will have to buy HP's hardware. They can't lose. I really feel that they are just dragging their feet because they don't have the ability to do a tune on the ECU. And they figger that someone like yourself will keep working trying to get a tune going. And once you do they reap all the reward buy just selling the hardware.
