The distributor said he shipped 8 cores today. We'll start welding them up Tues night and shipping backorders on Wed (if all goes well). Those left for new orders should be in stock Friday. Thanks for all your patience, I'm taking steps to insure that this never happens again

It's industry wide bro, garrett has reduced the variety of intercooler cores availible by at least 25%. It's making it a real pain in the arse to fab anything custom these days.

Our distributor is 2nd sourcing all his cores to reduce these stock outages.
I'm getting quotes from my "custom IC core maker", but they are typically 25% higher in price. The good news is we got 8 cores in and welded. The bad news is 7 were sold and the 8th sold the day after they arrived. Now I'm waiting again.

I hear you man. More and more of my customers are going with 1000hp garret liquid air bricks simply cause it's what we can have tomorrow.
Well that and they are super devious street racers....

We have finally got our supply problem fixed. I'm shipping all backorders tomorrow and will have 3 more built for stock Friday. I've got 20-30 cores coming in next week. However my IC core cost is increasing as are most metal products, so we will have a price increase about Sept 1 around $25-$50.
