hi guys,

I just found this tuner in Germany who specialised in Opel tuning.

they produce a little pocket device you plug into the OBD port and it overwrites the ECU.

stage 1 gives you kW 229 / 312 PS, 439 Nm

price 959 Euro

the interesting part is that it can also be tuned back to standard just like this.

you get updates for it via internet and they also provide you with original updates from your manufacture.

2 year warranty

Lexmaul GmbH Opel Tuning Online Shop

so far I can only find a partner in UK , but it might be an idea for any of the dealer here to get in contact with them.

as it's obviously a product from Germany it also has to comply with the TuV in germany so quality is not a problem.

That's just under $1500 USD, probably a little steep for most people. You could buy the HP Tuner kit and a spare ECU and have money left over.

Ummmm ..... IIRC you can do the SAME with either Wester's or Dejon and the HP tuners. Both at a much lesser cost AND have a USA or North American connection ... not somewhere overseas.

Plus, remember that the Opel GT is not tuned the same as the USA cars.

have a look at the link, they specify Solstice and Sky as separate models, you can't get any of them in EU so its aimed for imports.

But I didn't know there are similar easy solutions in the US...

do you have any links? maybe I do it the other way around

That handheld tuner looks exactly like the BSR tuner, but with a different label on it. The device itself looks to be exact.

It is exactly the same thing.

Lexmaul is the german distributor for the bsr PPC.

Online Updates and support is via bsr in sweden.

Warranty issues would be identical, whether you reflash via a PC with HP Tuners & Westers or a little box that you plug into the OBDII port.
