Your dyno shows what I am talking about. You are losing power towards the end of the graph. That is not your motor, that is the turbo running out of breath. Put a mildly bigger turbo on it and with some tuning it will continue to climb instead of dropping off. I have contacted a company about a K04 impeller swap good for 20-30 more horses without sacrificing much (if any) spool time.

Two ways to post directly, become a supporting member or join a photo hosting site like photobucket.com and then post the IMG CODE in the forum.

An impeller swap on the existing turbo, hmmm that sounds interesting...

Click User CP from the menu above and then on the left, Paid Subscriptions. You can also post images here through a photo hosting site. I fixed my post above.

Place IMG codes around the picture instead of URL and you can post photos. Hit reply to my post to see the code.

yeah it has the mega and is converted over to port injection. the mega cant controll the di, you can use a mefi controller and controll the di but what you going to do for a upgrade on a di injector ? sorry about the chub thing ! lol

Brother, you wont need to upgrade the DI injector until you reach 1000hp. Ive run 27psi(with ALOT more turbo than most) and only gone up to 48% duty cycle. The DI has such a narrow injection window that they had to be huge to get the fuel in. WHen runnign in PE mode, the DI injects when the intake valves are open just like port, only downstream.

Maybe when we get our hands on the new sequencer, DI could be possible since it has true sequntial thruout the rev range. I understand that since the new unit will communicate thru CAN, that we lose a little resolution which could be an issue with DI. they have a minimum PW resolution of like 0.5mS. Could be an issue.

biggest knob on that is spark. the boost is probably max'd out but you can dump the spark and run straight to MBT on race gas. Plus, with cam phasers and plenty of room in the compressor map at 3600 RPM that number doesn't suprise me at all.

mbt ? sorry i am acronym impaired. sound like you are talking about timing? you should be able to run more timing with better gas. anyone have timing info on a stock motor i can use for a base when i get the motor installed ?
