I just installed my new Magnaflow 3" Catback Exhaust and at risk of beating a dead horse I will quote JustMike "This is how the GXP should have sounded from the factory." (Something to those words ) I was leery after hearing the previous clips and I hope mine sound okay. I attempted to make OEM and Magnaflow clips in similar situations. IMO this install was VERY simple ... especially if you have another set of hands. Dollar for Dollar, I think this was my best return so far on my modifications. Here are some clips:
This first clip was taking inside of the car (hood down) with the factory exhaust
Here is the after, but I forgot that the hood was open and you hear the CAI/BOV, which comes across bad on video
Here is a ground level video before the install
After the Install
Cruising at 50 and it sounds quiet and has no drone
Finally, I gave my friend that helped me a test ride (he recorded this clip) I showed him the 0-60 capability and you can see he is pretty excited. He says "How many people have you smoked in this" at the end and I made sure to say "I really don't play around" .... all while giving him the "Cut taping" sign. Kim (Jr) can vouch that I am a VERY cautious driver ....
BOTTOM LINE: Install took about 1 hour (no rush) and the exhaust cost <$500, which included Fed Ex shipping. When you first crank it up you will say "This really sounds the same (not too noticeable), but just wait until you stomp on it! I am still smiling as I type this! I need to paint my calipers and a few other things and I will be ready for the Nationals. If anyone is on the fence for this mod, then DO NOT worry about the install being too hard.

One more important note:
I have the Fujita CAI and the Magnaflow 3" Catback and have NO CEL issues. I will keep you guys informed if I have any issues and I head to Fort Benning next week, so I will add a bunch of miles ... as always.

DEFINITELY not even close to the Race Exhaust sound It can be "Stealth" when you are "behaving" and it can sound "sweet" if you lay into it. I should be at the Macon car show on June 9th and hope to have my brakes and engine cover painted by then.

Same here. Magnaflow 3 inch catback and Fujita CAI. Took me 1.5 hours on the Magnaflow, most difficult ws getting hangers off the stock exhaust.
No codes. The whoosh on the BOV is a good bit louder and the sound is deeper under acceleration.
NOW, WHEN IS THE ECU REFLASH DUE OUT SO I CAN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF MY MODIFICATIONS?

This was my last MAJOR mod, until I get my ECU mod ... I hope there is a Dyno in Nashville, because I am curious to see the results.

Don't know about dynos but the stadium parking lot on the south side of the pedestrian bridge is a great place to do burnouts. I left a few tires marks there in my GXP

My MF took about an hour or so to install by myself at the base hobby shop (thank God for lifts!). Those exhaust hangars were tough SOB's though. I still dont know how the heck I managed to get those things off, but I know I had to use a zip wheel to cut a hangar off the stock exhaust at one point.
It took me roughly 3 hours to install my Fujita in a parking lot last friday night...
Of course, my right hand (my primary hand) is in a cast.

If there is a local drag strip, then we can do that instead of a Dyno ... I am game either way.
