Looks excellent. Do u have a photo with some more background
I'll try to get some other shots hosted. I have tried to get better shots, but really need to bring it inside for that. Plus, my engine bay isn't the cleanest at the moment.
FYI, Your hood release cable isn't stowed properly, slide the insulation back in the direction of the arrow and take the cable and clip it back into the bracket circled.

Funny...I had the same issue and caught it before it melted onto the heat shield.

Deepbluegxp, could I trouble you or anyone for that matter to post a pic of the correct mounting position so I can see before and after pics? I'm really not that mechanically inclined but seeing after shots would definitely help.
Thanks, LilRedGXP

Automatic, AC, Leather Seating, 6 CD Changer, Monsoon sound, XM radio, Sport Metallic Pedals, did I mention Automatic.
Since my better half doesn't drive stick ... tis better to get an automatic GXP than no GXP at all.
This is the last of my NASA spec Space Shuttle heat shield tape used to repair tiles and heat shield while in orbit. I got a 55 gallon drum of it from a contractor who got it as out of date to the trash bin in 1994.
Technology transferred to 3M so the tape is available on the civilian market now.
I still don't like it so I am going to get some more tube shield from my dealer to go over the tape then I think I will put a piece of tape under the clip.
