We are no longer offering this product because our ECM source is now required by General Motors to provide a VIN code for each ECM sold. I can't order multiple ECM's for my car. I suppose they may use the VIN-ECM purchase, when not dealer installed, to deny warranty. If you want a second ECM, you'll have to purchase it yourself. Or, you might buy HP Tuners VCM and download Wester's tune yourself. Then you can make any future upgrades yourself also.

Looks like they thought of this way too late in many instances.
They can still determine if the stock computer has been reflashed by BSR or HPT. This is the price we pay to play. I'd expect you'd hear them laughing all the way from Detroit if I tried to claim a blown engine under warranty. Actually I'm amazed at how well the car is holding up under all the mods. Stock clutch, no drivetrain issues, etc and I run at least 23psi all the time. I just hope GM lasts as long as the car with their financial problems and low stock value. They are really getting some good products ready, if they can just hang on. The VOLT may be a real saver for them.

Some people never reflashed their stock ECM.
The Volt will have a long road to profitability even if it is extremely successful. If I understand correctly, there are only 10k units planned for the first model years with up to 60k for the second model year. While it could be a technological success, it won't be a financial success for a while. Hopefully it does it's job pulling buyers into the showroom.

I would love a volt if they can keep the styling somewhat on par with the concept. I only drive 10 miles to work so I can hit up work and the grocery store and still have miles left over without using gas. It would be perfect for me.
Then I can use all the money saved on gas for Victoria on the weekends.

So your not selling the tune anymore or just not with a new ECM?

Sure, we're still selling the tune, its still on the web page, the ECM is not
We can still buy an ECM for you and send it to Wester's , just need your VIN and turnaround is longer since no ECM's are stocked at Wester's.

So when I'm ready I can still drive down to your shop and we can hook up my laptop with an HP tuner program and you all can load the tune the first time right in the car so I can learn how to use the stuff properly if I have to set her back to stock or load an update in the future?
No new ECM needed this way right?
