New!! SOLO Performance CSD Exhaust

SOLO Performance Center Stacked Dual Exhaust System (CSD)

After months of design and creative thinking, this project has finally become a reality. This would not have happened without the enthusiasm of Jeff from SOLO Performance and the craftsmanship of Norm from Norm's Fiberglass.

The rear section fits perfectly with the front pipe offered by SOLO, which is a must with any of their exhaust purchases. I was fortunate to have a front pipe from the last exhaust I had made by them. I highly recommend having access to a shop with a lift to perform the install and get everything lined up properly. Either that, or have a few friends handy to help hold it in alignment. It fits nicely through the fascia opening. Everything about this exhaust is just pure awesomeness (is that a word?).

The Sound: I have the HF cat by SOLO, GMPP CAI, Dejon IC pipes, Dejon Intercooler, and Westers HOT tune. With all of this installed, it sounds right in between the MACH system and RCD-II system. Ad idle and cruising speeds, there is no drone and it sounds very similar to the MACH. When you give it some throttle, it sounds mean as hell.

Performance: It performs well with no noticed power loss from the other systems. In fact, it feels like it make have opened up a few more ponies.

The Look: See for yourself! Comments are welcome! This is not for bashing.

Compared to the RCD-II System- kinda looks like a piece af art

Hi Steve! I'm sure this project would not have happened if it weren't for your burning desire and persistence. We're so glad your happy with the looks, sound and performance. You truly have a one of a kind masterpiece. Norm's diffuser looks beautiful. Congratulations on pulling off what you set out to do many months ago. Enjoy!! We will be posting a thread very soon in regards to pricing etc. Thanks.

It's not as low to the ground as the pictures make it out to be. It should be fine over speed bumps...I take them sideways anyway

I still prefer the Solo Mach system duals for N/A with the midstream resonator and Norms smooth split fascia....the sound just keeps getting deeper and deeper. The look is pure American Roadster (which is what this car is) but I have to say if you were looking for more of an exotic "what the hell is that?" European look ...you have succeeded...I like it...purely unique...purely exotic. Sexy...one of kind....'till others fill Norms and Jeff’s pockets...and I hope they do...well designed...well deserved.....and you could not spend your money any better...

I've gotten a whole bunch of "What the hell is that?" looks already only having it on one day. It's very cool. I still don't see many Solstice in general on the road. We had a BBQ at the dealership out in Riverhead this weekend and all of the shop managers and staff loved the look.

Looks pretty cool, very unique. I would have to say it looks best from a 3/4 view or a side view. Straight on in my mind it appears to contradict the wide stance of the solstice. However I will say the more I look at it the more I like it.

So do the pictures do it justice? I ask this because pictures never do our cars justice and maybe it does look different once depth comes into play.

Wow that looks good. I like it but I'm not sure if I like it as much as Solo's SQR1 kit (which I am planning on installing on my future Solstice coupe)

Agreed, I think I prefer the exhaust tips side by side as opposed to being on top of the other but this is a great looking exhaust kit, by a great performance company.

Pictures don't so it justice! It looks so freakin' good in person. It's hard to get a good perspective from the pictures.
