No,
in a nutshell, anything over say 5-6mS above 6000rpm is injecting during the compression stroke. Since we no longer have the intake valve open and air rushing in with great tumble and swirl to mix the fuel, the charge goes from homogenous to having rich and lean pockets.
This affects pressure rise a great deal due to the penalty in burn rate.

THIS is the reasoning behind having 122 lb/hr injectors in the car stock. We can run the car above the 6mS window without damage, but take a penalty in torque due to slower flame propagation.
I'm working on a supplier for edm'd injectors with around a 180 lb/hr flow rate. Gotta get HPT & wester's on board with the DI pressure/flwo rate tables.

Longer duration cams may help as well, but for a differnt reason than whats usual. Mixture prep is everything in this engine.

Interesting result - especially between different manufacturers of Dyno's. Call me stupid, but I always liked to test the effectiveness of a modification in a 1/4 mile run scenario. Getting the average of 3 runs gives you a very accurate number as to what your most recent mod did to performance. It's easy and cheap. Quarter mile run times also take into account any aerodynamic mods that you have done. I recently shaved off 0.6 of a second by lowering my vehicle 1.25 inches. Less drag I guess? Of course, I live in an area where we do not have a Dynojet, so I have have to improvise. I would love to have a graph that I can lay by my pillow at night and look at, but I'm not that lucky. Has anyone posted or do you have dyno results for a PPC tuner? Thanks all.

I will post the graph tonight. But, I just came back from getting my car after having them put my new Solo High Flow cat on. They did a before and after dyno pull. I am not happy with the results.

Here are my mods...Westers Race tune, Dejon intercooler, Solo RCD/HF Cat, K&N filter.

Results...Before Cat - HP = 265.34 - Torque = 318.86

After Cat - HP = 265.59 - Torque = 336.04

Is this the right power and torque with the mods I have? I thought it would be more.

Thanks!

Hmmm, I have similar mods but also have the big wheel. I would think you would be higher but it depends on the dyno, weather, etc. I'm running 300whp with 402 Torque on a dyno dynamics.
