Reason: addition
Do not think I would call it a race tune, but thats just me. It is really a hot tune. I have it and love it but it is not made for the track it is for the fun of driving on the street. I am sure you do not support street racing.
Just my 2 cents.
But I think people would really enjoy this tune. It has added so much fun to my driving.

Chuck
Lyndon calls it his "RACE" tune because boost is 21+psi
He calls his 18psi tune, his "HOT" tune (why buy 18 when you can get 21 )

Dave, when you say that the tune can be modified for aftermarket turbos, cat delete, air intakes, does that mean you can modify it for me, or i have to do that after i make some passes with a logger, or will the tune relearn for these. just wondering if these are options that i can make when buying the tune.

You specify the mods you have on the car or intend to have when you install the tune. Lyndon customizes the tune to your mods. Later you can use HP tuners to change any of the tables it opens, but it won't open them all. And later, if you change parts, the car will probably run OK but not be optimized for your new parts.

This is a great opportunity for all you 07 GXP owners who don't have the Wester's tune yet. Kudos to Dave and Lyndon on making the tune even more readily available to the masses.
Submit your orders now, you won't regret it!!!

Folks folks in the Delaware, PA, Southern NJ and MD area if you need a "friend" with access to HPTuners software I might be able to help. You of course will need to pay the man first but after that I can probably help. Of course this only applies to the 07 Solstice as we found out at the mod meet the Sky Redline needs to be licensed separately from HPTuners and I like you guys but not enough to spring for the credits for that model year. Now if some of you Redline owners want to get together and take up a collection, I'm your man

Dave, any idea when the 2008 tune will be ready? I drive an automatic, dumb question I realize, but these tunes apply to both types of transmissions? Also, I'd like to avoid dropping $500 on the HP Tuner VCM software, is it likely someone in one of the many racing shops around Charlotte, NC would have it, and be willing to perform the conversion? I know you can't speak for them, just wondering how this generally happens? Thanks much.

Unless someone on the forum who has HPTuners, steps up, you'll have to find a local tuner and deal with him. I'll be at the regional meet in Lexington, August, if you want to wait that long.
