westers tune, rough idle, anyone else?

I have had the westers tune for quite a while and it has been perfect. This afternoon I developed a rough idle. No engine light and car accelerates and drives normal with plenty of power. I did fill up with gas this am and did not use the usual shell v power as I was running late. I did use 93 octane bp gas though.

If I was guessing, I would bet on gas related but wondering if anyone else had any ideas.

I use BP gas on mine all the time but I do not have the Westers.
I have no problems with their blend.

Usually when something starts acting different and there's only one variable, it's that variable.

Wouldn't be the first time I've heard of a bad tank of gas. Throw some Techron in it and try the shell once the tank is empty.

Same problem here. A couple of gallons of race gas solved the problem.

No problems on mine, check your hoses. Did we upgrade your clamps to T-bolts? I don't remember. If that is good, I'd suspect the gas also and go find some "dry gas" additive to put in it. That will mix with any water and allow it to burn.

HEET, is a very good gas dryer and it's cheap. I run the Techron through about every 12 gas tanks, or you can just fill up with Texaco or Chevron.

I idle rough at times, it's usually just the freaking crappy a/c compressor.

How much is the idle fluctuating?
Does it jump over 1000 RPMs?
If it is jumping to 1000+ I'd bet it is your Cam sensor mine did this and no light it was replaced under warranty

I have the tune and use 93. I sometimes get a very rough idle on starts, more often on rainy days. The code it throws is a misfire code, which it classifies as premature.
I usually clear these, but I know in the long-run it probably isn't good.
I was planning on upgrading the the race tune soon and hoping it goes away.
Once it warms up I have no problems idling at traffic lights, etc.

It was strange, because it was after an hour drive in traffic that it did it only as I pulled in my driveway. It was not a big fluctuation in RPM's but just the car was shaking like an old V8 I used to have. A couple hours later I drove to the hardware store and it was fine. I will drive it hard tomorrow and see what happens.

I did not have the air conditioning on.

I hate it when I get bad gas. So do others who happen to be around me.
