Hi people, just a new user/owner, I want to know your opinion about this spark plugs, somebody is using them, is there any power improvement, what about a combination of spark plugs+CAI is going to give little more umph to the engine.

Thanks.

My short answer is no....no noticible improvement. CAI will definitely help but again, when I had it, I didn't notice much throttle improvement.

I used to use Bosch +4 plugs in my solstice until I went with DDM's Stage II setup which includes NGK plugs. The Bosch ones were nice but they won't near as much of a difference as does the CAI.

If you look on the Saturn Sky forums I believe there were a few Redline owners who tried it and the plugs fouled on the first or second day. Now, that's not saying the same thing would happen on the 2.4L but you may want to wait to see if some different heat ranges come out for the spark plugs. The NGK plugs I use now are a "colder" plug than the Bosch ones from earlier.

Hey, i tried those pulstar plugs. I have to say that they definitely do save me gas and there is a bit more grunt from about 3k to 5500 rpm. I'm satisfied with em. Also, i'm running a Jet brand stage 2 chip(93 oct only), Fujita CAI, and a Kappa Sphere cat back exhaust. . . thinkin bout cams, high flow cat, and header next. Wanna keep it N/A all the way.

Not to sound mean or anything. But first of all you can't "Chip" our computers. Second of all Jet only makes a MAF sensor that works for the 2.4L. I don't know if that is what you are talking about but there is no staging to it.

I am just leaving my commetns there anybody else can take from that what they want.

Ok, honestly... not to be too foward. But u are truly incorrect about the "chip." The "chip" is a piggy back unit/ module that remaps timing and fuel curves while taking away certain timing retards. It only allows for 93 octane fuel and is sourced by Jet from Ace Speed Shop. So... i am offended and surprised at ur lack of product knowlege as well as ur portrayal of me as a liar.

I'm just sayin... take it how u want it. Peace

don't think anyone is calling you a liar, it's just that we have never heard of a working chip with this vehicle. Tell us more.

Looks like they do make chips for our car. Part numbers 10634 (Stage 1) and 10634S (Stage 2). The just plug in between the ECM and the main cable connector.

How big of an improvement did you notice after installing the chip?

The manufacturers website is here JET Performance Products. The part number is valid, it shows if you try to register it. however, nothing shows if you search the part number. They have contact info on their site.

This Guy has them on ebay for 240 bucks.

If you go to JetChip.com and fill out the vehicle selector at the top of the page it will show you whats available for the solstice. it looks like 10634 and 10634S are for the 2006 solstice which is what I have. 10734 is for a 2007

They dont list any dyno results for our application, it would be nice to see some proof of what the thing does cause itd be nice to have a plug-n-play solution.

That's odd, because if you input MY2007 you only get the MAF sensor.
