Not if you want to make some power. A straight through muffler should be used with boosted applications. Baffles in the muffler slow down air flow, and cause the muffler to actually fill up with air, hurt flow thus hurting performance. I have seen a maggie charged Silverado SS gain 15whp on a dyno just by taking of the flowmaster and putting on a straight through design. He put on a dynomax ultraflo.

Ordered the Solstice: Black with leather, steering wheel controls, A/C delete (who needs A/C in a convertible). Custom turbo kit, maybe!

I installed a 40 series delta flow on my 07 n/a and couldn't be happier. $87 for the muffler and $85 for install. Just remember, if it's too loud, your too old!

Mine is too quite too. I really thought it would be a little louder. I do like the sound though. I have the fujita cai on mine as well. I wonder if a header would make it a little louder. Or maybe a high flow cat?

Header and hiflow cat will make it much louder, but the sound will get raspy. If you do it plan on putting a resonator in also to get rid of the raspiness. In that case I recommend the Flo-pro twister. Best $100 I ever spent.

Ricey exhaust FTL.

I had the original flow master 40's (Not the now newer Delta version) on my chevy v8 Silverado. They sounded great from the outside, but the interior drone between 55-75mph was totally obnoxious - I couldn't stand it.
I purchased an 06 solstice for my wife and she mentioned a muffler with a better sound, so my question to you is, do you have much interior droning noise with your flowmaster?

There is still some with this new delta flow but not as bad as the original. I know there are some people on this forum that have other flowmaster mufflers and maybe they will chime in on this one. Take a look at flowmaster's website. They have a 50 and 60 series delta flow three chamber that should have less interior noise.

There is some noise, but not at all a problem. Everybody has different tastes and tolerances, but this is by no means an issue for me.

Am I the only person that is running a flowmaster hushpower muffler

HP-2 Series Muffler - 304S - Hushpower
this still gives it a deep sound and is smaller than any other series muffler that flowmaster makes

Bowhunter has a hushpower, and two resonators if I remember correctly, to dual outlets. He's on my exhaust comparison video page.

I didn't care for the sound of the hushpower on that link posted here. Especially for almost 200.00 dollars. JMO

Do you have a link to your car with the hushpower? I was more talking about the car that was on that link? Actually I'll check the exhaust sound list.
